Kiel Barkdull and Rachael Acree were married at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 8, 2008, at the Hilton North in Indianapolis. The Rev. Keith Wooden offi ciated.
A reception followed the ceremony. The couple planned a wedding trip to Dublin, Ireland. They reside in Anderson.
The bride is the daughter of Katie Acree of Nashville and the late Tim Acree. She is employed at Children’s Bureau of Anderson. The groom is the son of Chris Barkdull and Mary Stoughton of Pendleton. He is employed by Owens Memorial Services in Alexandria.
The bride was escorted by her brothers, Daniel and Michael Acree, and her grandfather, Preston Acree. Katie Acree was matron of honor. April Glaspie, Jennifer Patterson and Jasmina Mijailovic, all of Indianapolis, and Jama Schooley of Auburn were bridesmaids. Alyssa and Andrea Stoughton of Muncie were fl ower girls. Roy Ellis of Anderson was best man. Kevin Barkdull of Anderson, Brandon Barkdull of Joplin, Mo., Mark Stoughton of Muncie and James Bradley of Bloomington were groomsmen. Christopher Acree and Nick Henson, both of Elizabethtown, were ushers. Ben Stoughton of Muncie was ring bearer.
