Seth Barnes and Elizabeth Hughes were married in a 2 p.m. ceremony Oct. 4, 2008, at Asbury United Methodist Church. Al Styron officiated. A reception followed at the Holiday Inn.
The couple planned a wedding trip to Jamaica. They reside in Covington, Ky.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Cathy Hughes of Redbird Drive. She is a biomedical engineer at Atricure, Inc.
The groom is the son of Ray Barnes and Joe and Rebecca Kraft, all of Kalamazoo, Mich. He is a sales and marketing manager at Gamemaster Athletic.
Emily Hughes of Columbus was maid of honor. Sandhya Sudhaker of Minneapolis, Christy Collins of Columbia, Mo., Mary Cvelbar of Valparaiso, Maia Kristof of East Moline, Ill., and Linnea Powell of Kalamazoo were bridesmaids. Addie Powell of Kalamazoo was fl ower girl. Andrew Schwartz was best man. Jamar Cobb–Dennard of Indianapolis, Takuya Waters of Maple Falls, Wash., Ben Hughes of St. Joseph, Mich., Craig Anderson of Covington, Ky., and Dave Roach were groomsmen. Matt Kristof of East Moline and Zan Powell of Kalamazoo were ushers. Ian Powell of Kalamazoo was ring bearer.
