Charles and Beverly Vogel of North Vernon plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house to be given by their family from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 26 at St. Joseph Catholic Church hall at Four Corners in Jennings County.
Mr. Vogel and the former Beverly Wilkerson were married Oct. 25, 1958, at St. Joseph Catholic Church by the Rev. Edward Eisenman.
Mr. Vogel is a retired farmer. Mrs. Vogel is a homemaker.
The couple have six children, Michael and Scott Vogel, Melissa Skirvin and Barbara Walker and the late Christopher and Gregory Vogel. They also have 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
