Douglas and Ruth Lynn of Pearl Street planned a trip to Key West, Fla., to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Lynn and the former Ruth Rambo were married Sept. 1, 1968, at Wertz United Methodist Church in Columbus by the Rev. Charles Russell.
Mr. Lynn is retired owner of Great Expectations Bookshop in Nashville. Mrs. Lynn is employed at Columbus Regional Hospital.
The couple have three children, Brandon Tyler Lynn of Indianapolis and Nathaniel “Benji” Lynn and Carey Amber Lynn Likens, both of Columbus. They also have two grandchildren.
