James H. and Beverly Jean Job of Hanover recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house given by their daughters at the couple’s home.
Mr. Job and the former Beverly Cook were married Aug. 30, 1958, at Deputy Methodist Church in Jennings County.
Mr. Job retired from the U.S. Department of Justice. Mrs. Job retired from the DeKalb, Ga., school corporation.
The couple have three daughters, Ingrid L. Job of Atlanta, Melissa J. Perry of Louisville, Ky., and Vanessa R. Job of Santa Fe, N.M. They also have three grandchildren.
