Lee and Jewell Arthur of Clover Court recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Arthur and the former Jewell Beyers were married Sept. 21, 1968, at First United Methodist Church in Bloomington.
Mr. Arthur is employed by Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. Mrs. Arthur is employed by Dr. Thomas Watkins Dentistry.
The couple have two children, Sherri Murrel and Brian Arthur, and one grandchild.
