Charles and Joyce Springhorn of Columbus plan to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner and a trip to Florida.
Mr. Springhorn and the former Joyce Moore were married Sept. 14, 1968, at Hope Methodist Church by the Rev. Raymond Kennedy.
Mr. Springhorn retired from Cummins Inc. in 2002. The couple have three children, Chuck Springhorn of Taylorsville, Jeff Springhorn of Hope and Becky Stewart of Columbus.
They also have five grandsons..
