Joseph and Mary Bott of
North Vernon are celebrating
their 40th wedding anniversary
today.
Mr. Bott and the former Mary Johnson were married July 20, 1968, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in North Vernon by the Rev. Richard Lyons.
Mr. Bott retired in 1996 after working 31 years at Cummins Inc. Mrs. Bott works as a secretary at St. Mary’s School in North Vernon.
The couple have two daughters, Kathy Cool of Carmel and Diane Bower of North Vernon. They also have two grandsons and two stepgrandchildren.
