Thomas and Sharon Mick of
South Wood Lake Drive recently
celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary with a trip to
Kauai, Hawaii, given to them
by their children.
Mr. Mick and the former Sharon Carter were married Jan. 4, 1958, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in North Vernon. Mr. Mick retired from Cummins Inc., where he was director of engineering, and also from his own engineering consulting firm.
Mrs. Mick is a retired dental assistant.
The couple have five children, Matthew Mick of Decatur, Ala., Melinda Mick of Philadelphia, Melissa Zahn of San Antonio, Texas, Michele Varela of Orange, Calif., and Mitchel Mick of Chicago. They have seven grandchildren.
