Amy Baker of Indianapolis
and Grant Hale of Khost,
Afghanistan, announce their
engagement.
Ms. Baker is the daughter of Margaret and Kenn Baker of West Baker Hollow Road and the sister of Joe Baker of Greencastle and Sam Baker of Boston. She is a 2000 graduate of Columbus North High School and a 2004 graduate of DePauw University. She is a former Peace Corps HIV and AIDS education volunteer in Swaziland and is a biology graduate student at Purdue University.
Mr. Hale is the son of Joe and Linda Hale of Naples, Fla., and the brother of Britten Hale of Denver and Kathenne Hale of Connecticut. He is a 1995 graduate of North Central High School in Indianapolis, a 1999 graduate of DePauw University and attended graduate school at Dartmouth College. He is a former Peace Corps health volunteer in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and currently is a field program officer for the U.S. Agency for International Development in Khost.
The wedding will be June 14 in Columbus.
