Ernest and Joan Murphy of
Elizabethtown plan to celebrate
their 60th wedding
anniversary with their family.
Mr. Murphy and the former Joan Nigh were married at Flat Rock Feb. 22, 1948, by the Rev. Paul Dunn. Mr. Murphy retired from Reliance Electric.
Mrs. Murphy is a homemaker.
The couple have three children, Donald O. and E. Dwain Murphy, both of Elizabethtown, and Nancy Y. Speer of Hartsville.
They also have six grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren. Another grandchild is deceased.
